James McCullar says that the suspect broke into the breaker box and disconnected wires then broke the door handle of the restaurant.

VIDOR, Texas — The owner of a Vidor restaurant is saying that a man tried to break into the building early Friday morning.

James McCullar, co-owner of Jimmy Nick's BBQ, believes the suspect was trying to steal the A/C unit on December 22, 2023.

The suspect was seen scoping out the area before trying to break in, according to McCullar.

McCullar has filed a police report and is following up on tips from the community. He is offering a cash reward for the identity of the suspect, according to his Facebook post.
