Vidor Police looking for truck possibly linked to lumber theft case

Police said the dark Toyota Tundra may have been involved in a theft on Monday afternoon

VIDOR, Texas — The Vidor Police Department is calling on the public to help identify a truck that could be connected to a theft that took place on Monday afternoon.  

Police shared photos of a Toyota truck and trailer on VPD's Facebook page. 

The community is asked to call VPD at (409)-769-4561 or Crime Stoppers at (409)-833-TIPS with any information about the driver of the truck. 

The post says the vehicle may be connected to a theft case involving stolen lumber taken from the 200 block of Pineburr Street on Nov. 18 between 1:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. 

Police described the truck in the photo as a newer model black or dark blue Toyota Tundra, and the trailer as a brown/tan tandem axle lowboy with a spare tire on the passenger side.
