BEAUMONT, Texas — A 53-year-old Orange County man is behind bars after Vidor Police found child pornography at a home in Vidor.
Investigators from the Department of Homeland Security notified Vidor Police that they believed there was child pornography in a home in the 1200 block of North Main St, according to police chief Rod Carroll.
Officers obtained a warrant to search the home and when they searched it on Thursday , June 20, 2024, they found images of child pornography, Carroll told 12News.
David Duane Parker, 53, of Vidor was arrested on a child pornogrpahy possession charge, which is a third degree felony, and taken to the Orange County Jail. His bond has not yet been set according to jail records.
If convicted, Parker faces from two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
