'This one really hurts' | Neches Brewing Company vandalized

"The worst part is, they slid the pirogue up and down the historic staircase."

PORT NECHES, Texas — A 100 year-old building and popular business in Port Neches was vandalized Tuesday evening. 

Vandals broke into the Neches Brewing Company through a rooftop entrance by way of a wood ladder on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, according to a Facebook post by the business. 

The Neches Brewing Company owner Tyler Blount said two levels of the building were defaced. 

"They smashed windows with fire extinguishers then deployed them covering every square inch with the powder. The worst part is they slid the pirogue up and down the historic staircase. Life of a small business already comes with many challenges this one really hurts. Please share and help us find the culprits," Blount said.
