Two Port Arthur game rooms were shut down as part of ongoing police investigation

On December 11, 2023 Port Arthur Police did an inspection at KC's Game Room.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Two Port Arthur game rooms have been closed down after an investigation.

On December 11, 2023 Port Arthur Police did an inspection at KC's Game Room. Officers found multiple violations of city ordinances, according to Port Arthur Police Chief Timothy Duriso.

KC's was shut down because of the violations.

On December 6, officers visited the 777 Game Room 3300 block of Medical Triangle in Port Arthur. Officers arrested Sambasiva Rao Markapuram of Port Arthur, for promotion of gambling.

777 Game Room was also shut down.

This is part of an ongoing investigation into game rooms in Port Arthur.
