HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — A Kountze man has been sentenced to two years in prison after being convicted of having a violent road rage incident that started with him ramming a car off the road, and then throwing an axe at its passenger.
31-year-old Bradley Davis has been convicted with theft of a material. He was sentenced to two years in prison.
Two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a family member were dismissed.
Back in January 2022, Davis rammed his F-150 truck into a car, forcing it into the ditch, according to court documents.
From there the situation continued to spiral out of hand, with Davis then picking up an axe and throwing at the passenger of the car.
Davis has been in Hardin County jail since January 2024 for violating a protective order.
