ORANGE, Texas — A teenager has been taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg in Orange Monday afternoon.
Around 1 p.m. a fight broke out involving a group of at least four people in the 500 block of Knox Avenue, witnesses told 12News crew at the scene.
People in the area called 911 to report to multiple shots being fired.
When Orange Police Officers arrived they found two individuals leaving the area on bikes. They were stopped and officer saw that a teen had a gunshot wound to his leg, according to 12News crew at the scene.
He was taken to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth hospital to be treated for the wound.
Acadian Ambulance responded along with Orange Police Department.
