BEAUMONT, Texas — Jefferson County deputies have arrested a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery, a car theft and other crimes.
Randle Qadir Cormier, 17, of Beaumont, was arrested by deputies Wednesday on several charges and is currently in the Jefferson County Correctional Center awaiting bond according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Cormier is suspected firing a shot into the ground as he robbed two people walking in the 4800 block of Woodland Park in late October 2018 according to a Beaumont Police Department spokesperson.
He is also suspected of stealing a 2017 Kia Forte earlier that month police said.

Other charges are still pending against Cormier according to police.
