ORANGE, Texas — Police are searching for a suspect after a man with a jacket covering his face robbed the Dollar General store in Orange Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of N. 16th Street just before 8 p.m. Store employees said the suspect had a gun and demanded money. An employee gave the man an unknown amount of money.
The suspect left the store, but it's not clear which way he was going.

On October 09, 2019, at 7:55 P.M., officers were dispatched to 3024 N. 16th Street, Dollar General, in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the store employees. The suspect was described as a black male, of medium to dark complexion, wearing a black hooded jacket, with part of the jacket covering his face. Store employees advised the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money. The store employee turned over an undetermined amount of money to the suspect, who then left the building in an unknown direction of travel. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
