JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — Five suspects have been indicted on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity after the January 10 AT&T store burglary in Beaumont.
Ricky Tatum, 25, Kevin Scales, 20, Corde St. Jules, 17, Amari Alexander, 18, and Corey De'Vonte Isaacs, 26, Joseph Yarbrough, 19, all of Houston, were indicted on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity this week according to court documents.
Yarbrough, along with Alexander, is currently at large at last check with Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
The AT&T store burglary was followed by a police chase involving two different vehicles according to a probable cause affidavit.
The suspects involved in the burglary are part of a group of young men that live in Houston and have 'targeted Beaumont numerous times with "smash and grabs" and juggings,' according to a probable cause affidavit.
Detective Jared Dupre with the auto-theft task force previously told 12News the men are connected to at least 50 other cases, including auto-burglaries and thefts. Their crimes date back to early 2018.
Isaacs and Tatum were also indicted on charges of evading arrest with a motor vehicle according to court documents.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Isaacs admitted he was driving when police tried to stop him. He said he wrecked and ran into the woods, where he hid for 13 days according to the document. Isaacs told police he was tired of hiding and knocked on someone's door to call the police according to the document.
Seven suspects in total were arrested following the January 10 burglary of the AT&T store at 4460 Dowlen Road in Beaumont according to a Beaumont Police news release. One of those arrested was a juvenile according to a Beaumont Police news release.
An eighth suspect, believed to be in Houston, is still at large according to the release.
