Silsbee woman indicted, arrested on bigamy charge, accused of marrying man she met online

Jennifer Gail Huff was arrested early Wednesday morning

SILSBEE, Texas — A Hardin County woman is facing a bigamy charge.

Jennifer Gail Huff was arrested early Wednesday morning by Silsbee Police.

The 51-year-old was arrested at 1:49 a.m., and was put in jail with a $2,500 bond.

She has since bonded out according to jail records.

The warrant was issued for her arrest on February 27 after she was indicted on the charge.

Hardin County District Attorney David Sheffield says Huff lives in Silsbee. He said while Huff was still married to her husband, she developed a relationship with another man online.

Sheffield says she ended up marrying the man she met online.

He says the case involved 'two victims,' her husband and the man she met online. He says the man she met online didn't know she was married.
