ORANGE, Texas — A 33-year-old Silsbee man previously arrested for harboring a runaway teenaged girl last year has been indicted on child sexual assault charges and for having child pornography.
Lucas Toutloff, 33, turned himself in to deputies in Orange County on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, on warrants from Tyler County.
The warrants were issued after he was indicted, in December 2022, for possession of child pornography and aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford.
Toutloff has been charged with possession of child pornography, a third degree felony and aggravated sexual assault of a child, a second degree felony.
It was not made clear if the new charges have anything to do with the charge he faces for harboring a 17-year-old runaway girl in October 2022.
He was released the same day after posting a bond totaling $300,000 for both charges.
His bond amounts were pre-determined with the sexual assault of a child bond at $250,000 and the child pornography charge at $50,000.
This is a developing story. We will update with more if and when we receive more confirmed information.
