PORT NECHES, Texas — Braeden Antonio Rodriguez, 20, of Port Neches, was sentenced to 5 years probation Monday for indecency with a child by exposure.
According an Affidavit, Rodriguez met the then 14-year-old victim on Snapchat back in 2022 when Rodriguez was 18-years-old.
Rodriguez reportedly lied about his age to the victim, claiming he was 15-years-old.
Rodriguez reportedly made several visits to the victims home before eventually being arrested and indicted last year for sexual assault of a minor last year after police found evidence of their interactions and conversations on the victims phone.
This morning Rodriguez pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of indecency with a child by exposure before Judge West.
Along with the 5 years of probation, Rodriguez will also have to pay a $500 fine.
