Port Arthur woman shot in her home

PAPD responded to the scene at around 11 a.m. to find the home owner suffering non-life threatening injuries.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas —

The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating a shooting at a home along 1000 block of 4th street.

PAPD responded to the scene at around 11 a.m. to find the home owner suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The woman was sent to Saint Elizabeth Hospital where she was treated and released.

Investigators are still looking for the male shooter according to Chief Tim Duriso, of PAPD.

A motive for the shooting has yet to be released.
