BEAUMONT, Texas — Police are investigating after a 19-year-old Port Arthur woman allegedly stabbed a man multiple times after he complained about noise outside his apartment.
Carlena Solomon, 19, of Port Arthur, was arrested by Port Arthur officers late Saturday night following the stabbing at Prince Hall Apartments, according to a probable cause affidavit in the case.
She was arraigned on a charge of aggravated assault Monday morning and her bond was set at $29,000 by Jefferson County Magistrate Judge Marc DeRouen at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. Currently she is still being held there, according to jail records.
Officers were sent to the apartment complex at 1008 West 14th St at about 11:20 p.m. Saturday night, according to the affidavit.
When they got there they found a man who was suffering from serious injuries after being stabbed in the chest, left shoulder and right leg.
The man told officers that several people were outside his apartment "causing a disturbance" and when he confronted them about the noise, Solomon approached him aggressively and then stabbed him with a kitchen knife, according to the affidavit. She then left the area.
He was able to identify her to police by using Facebook
