Police seeking 2 in armed robbery of Port Arthur gas station

Two armed suspects were caught on surveillance video entering the store where they stole cash and "property" before fleeing.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a pair of armed robbers who hit a Gulfway Dr convenience store this week,

Officers were sent to a gas station convenience store in the 1200 block of Gulfway Dr. at about 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, when the robbery was reported, according to a Port Arthur Police Department Facebook post.

Two armed suspects were caught on surveillance video entering the store where they stole cash and "property" before fleeing. They headed south from the store when they left, according to police. Police did not elaborate on what "property" was stolen.

Detectives are asking that residents in the area check their surveillance video for any suspicious activity around that time. If they do they're asked to contact Detective Cater at 409-983-8631.

Anyone who knows who the suspects may be is also asked to call Detective Cater at the above number.
