PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Police are asking the public to help them find two women they say shot up a Port Arthur apartment complex more than a week ago. Police say one of them confessed in a Facebook live video.
Officers were sent to the Villa Main Apartments in the 900 block of Main Ave after residents reported shots being fired on Sunday, October 1, 2023 according to a Facebook post by Port Arthur Police.
When they got there officers found bullet holes and windows they say appeared to be shattered by gunfire at an apartment unit the post said.
The residents were not in the apartment at the time of the shooting police said.
Police say in the post that Myla Angelle and Johnisha Warren were identified as being responsible for the shooting.
In a Facebook live video following the shooting Angelle confessed to it and bragged about "not being afraid to go to jail" police said.
Police ask that anyone who knows where the women are call police at (409) 983-8663.
Both woman are wanted on charges of deadly conduct police said.
Warren is about 5'7" and 160 pounds and Angelle is 5'3" and about 132 pounds according to police.
