Port Arthur Police investigating Saturday shooting that left 1 man injured

Police said the victim was, "not fully cooperating."

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur Police are investigating a Saturday shooting left one person injured.

Port Arthur Police Chief Timothy Duriso confirmed with 12News that police are currently investigating a shooting that took place in the 4500 block of Gulfway Drive. Police believe the shooting took place around 7:30 p.m.

Duriso said one man was injured during the shooting and the victim was, "not fully cooperating." 

At this time, it is unclear as to why the shooting took place or how many others were involved.
