PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating a Monday night shooting that left a woman dead on the 3200 block of 32nd Street.
The shooting was reported to Port Arthur Police late yesterday according to Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso.
Chief Duriso says that the shooting took place in a home at the 3200 block of 32nd Street.
After arriving at the scene, officers reportedly found a young woman in her early 20's dead inside of the home.
Chief Duriso says that while there are no arrests at this time, they have identified a suspect who's name they are not yet ready to release.
The victims name will be released after her family has been notified.
Port Arthur Police are still following up on leads at this time according to Chief Duriso.
