PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Arthur Police Department is asking residents who live in the area of 700 W. Gulfway Drive to check their surveillance cameras after a convenience store was robbed.
Just before 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, Port Arthur officers responded to a gas station in the 700 block of W. Gulfway Drive after receiving a call about a robbery.
Surveillance video revealed that the suspect went inside the business and was believed to be armed with a weapon. The suspect demanded money from the store clerks.
The suspect stole an undetermined amount of money before walking out of the business, according to police.
Port Arthur police are asking the public who reside in that immediate area of the city to check their surveillance cameras.
