Beaumont Police are investigating a shooting in Beaumont that left one man injured.
Police were dispatched around 5 p.m. Friday evening near Cleveland and Leight Street in the North End, near Mae Jones Clark Elementary School.
Detectives say the victim, who was taken to the hospital, is deaf and mute.
