Police investigating north Beaumont shooting that wounded 1 early Monday

​The male victim's wounds are not believed to be life-threatening according to police.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police are investigating an early-Monday morning shooting that left one person wounded.

Police were sent to a home in the 900 block of Spruce Ave about two blocks west of Magnolia Cemetery in the north end of Beaumont according to a police spokesperson.

Officers were sent to the home at about 4:20 a.m. according to dispatch records.

The male victim's wounds are not believed to be life-threatening according to police.

Currently no arrests have been made in the shooting which remains under investigation.
