Police investigating attempted ATM theft at bank in Orange

There are no suspects in custody at this time.

ORANGE, Texas — Police in Orange are investigating after two men attempted to steal an ATM early Thursday morning at a bank in Orange.

The pair attempted to steal the ATM at First State of Texas Bank on Martin Luther King Drive at Interstate at about 5 a.m. Thursday morning according to the Orange Police Department.

Police say there are no suspects in custody for the attempted theft at this time.

At about the same time a group of thieves struck in Nederland stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from an ATM at a Chase bank nut police in Nederland are unsure if the two are related.
