BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police have arrested a 21-year-old Beaumont man they say fatally stabbed another man Saturday evening at a Beaumont apartment complex.
A murder warrant for Sincere Stevenson, 21, of Beaumont, was issued Saturday night by Jefferson County Precinct One Justice of the Peace Ben Collins, Sr.
Collins, who has already set Stevenson's bond at $1,000,000, says Stevenson has an "extensive, violent criminal history." Stevenson is currently facing five attempted murder charges in Louisiana stemming from a single drive-by shooting according to Collins.
Officers were sent to an apartment complex in the 4400 block of Old Dowlen Rd Saturday evening at 7:40 p.m. after the stabbing was reported, according to a news release from police.
When they got there they found Richard Nolan, 53, in front of the apartment on the ground suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a Beaumont hospital by ambulance where he died police said.

He was the live-in boyfriend of Stevenson's girlfriend's mother according to Collins, who said the stabbing began with a fight amongst the two men.
Nolan, who had multiple stab wounds, including one to his forearm that hit an artery, was unconscious when police arrived according to Collins.
