Beaumont Police ask for help to identify armed robbery suspect

BEAUMONT, Texas — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in the mid-December armed robbery of a Beaumont convenience store.

On Friday night, Dec. 15, 2023, at around 10:30 p.m., police say an armed masked man robbed a clerk at gunpoint at the Fastlane convenience store at 3320 Laurel Ave just off Interstate 10.

The suspect is described as a thin Hispanic man wearing jeans with multiple rips, a black and white hoodie, a black ball cap and a bandana over his face.

After robbing the clerk police say he walked away headed toward the Timberlake Apartments along Interstate 10 just south of Laurel Ave.

Police released several images of the suspect that were caught during the robbery by surveillance cameras.
