ORANGE, Texas — Police in Orange are investigating after four people were shot Monday evening at a home on the eastside of Orange.
Officer were sent to the area of 2nd St and Schley Ave after receiving reports of shots being fired, according to a news release from the Orange Police Department.
After they got there, officer learned that four people had been shot the release said.
While officers were searching the area dispatchers alerted them that one of the gunshot victims had shown up at the xceptional Emergency Center in Orange. They were treated and released.
One person was flown by helicopter to houston where they have been treated and released according to police.
Two people were taken by ambulance Acadian Ambulance to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where one is in critical condition and one is recovering according to police.
Police learned that shooting happened at home in the 200 block of Morrell Blvd.
Police are continuing to investigate and have not released any more information at this time.
