Orange Police have resolved a hit-and-run case

The hit-and-run happened on Steeple Chasse Drive around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

ORANGE, Texas — The Orange Police Department told 12News that they have resolved a hit and run accident that happened Thursday evening.

On Steeple Chasse Drive around 5:45 p.m. a vehicle drove off the roadway and struck a fence according to Orange Police Sergeant Isaac T. Henry III

The vehicle caused damage and then fled the scene.

From an Orange Police news release:

The City of Orange Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on October 19, 2023, at about 5:45 p.m.  The incident occurred on Steeple Chasse Dr.  The Actor vehicle left the roadway and struck a fence, causing damage, and fled the scene.  If anyone recognizes the actor vehicle from the security footage, please contact the City of Orange Detective Division at 409-883-1095 or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers of SETX at 409-833-TIPS (8477), online at 833TIPS.com or download the P3 TIPS app. You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
