ORANGE, Texas — Orange Police Department Narcotics Detectives arrested four people in two separate incidents on Monday and Tuesday.
On January 22, 2024, detectives conducted a traffic stop on 30-year-old David Feathers of Orange.
After the traffic stop was finished, a search warrant was done at 38 Bruce Lane due to an ongoing investigation into Feathers for selling narcotics from his home, according to an OPD news release.
During the search, detectives found over one ounce of methamphetamine and over one ounce of powder and crack cocaine.
Feathers was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of controlled substance which is a second degree felony. One of the charges is for the meth and the other is for the cocaine, according to the release.
Feathers was transported to the Orange County Jail and released to the on-duty staff. The City of Orange Narcotic Division was assisted by the West Orange Police Department.
Then on January 23, 2024, detectives with OPD Narcotics were conducting surveillance preparing for a search warrant.
During this time, detectives did a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Impala. During the stop, two people who are identified as Andrew Ardoin, 35, of Orange, and Tyrell Bird, 21, of Orange, were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, according to another OPD news release.
Andrew and Tyrell were both arrested.
A search warrant was obtained and done at 2801 Sunset Avenue Apartment 69. During the search, additional methamphetamine and cocaine were discovered, according to the release.
Samuel Ardoin, 23, of Orange, was also arrested by OPD.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with two counts for possession of controlled substance, which is a second degree felony. One charge is for the meth and the other charge is for the cocaine, according to the release.
