Orange PD investigating homicide after body of 37-year-old man found

Police identified the man as 37-year-old Octavias Lamont Williams.

ORANGE — The Orange Police Department is investigating a homicide after a 37-year-old man was found dead in an apartment.

Captain Enmon with Orange Police, said they responded to the call of an unresponsive person in the 300 blk. of 2nd st. just past 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Police identified the man as Octavias Lamont Williams.

Family members of Williams spoke to 12News and said it looked like their loved one had been robbed.

They are asking for anyone with information to speak up.

On December 22, 2018 at 3:12 P.M. officers responded to an unresponsive person. 

Officers arrived and located a black male in an apartment in the 300 blk. of 2nd St. 

The person show no signs of life. 

Justice of the Peace – Precinct 3, Judge Dubose-Simonton was contacted and an autopsy was ordered.
