BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left one person injured.
The shooting took place in the 1300 block of Lindbergh Drive. The call regarding the shooting came in shortly before 4:30 p.m.
Officer Haley Morrow told 12News that one person was taken to the hospital. At this time, the victim's name, age and identity are unknown.
Police believe the victim is expected to survive but did not tell us the extent of their injury.
12News obtained exclusive surveillance video from the co-owner of Glen's Auto Repair, showing moments leading up to the shooting.
He was in his office when he heard the gunfire. He says someone fired at least two shots at a red Buick.
Video shows the gunfire came as another vehicle pulled up next to the Buick, but it's unclear where the shots came from.
Moments after the shooting, video shows three people jump out of the red Buick and run toward Washington Boulevard.
