BEAUMONT, Texas — On Wednesday, May 8, 18-year-old Traivonne Clark was indicted for aggravated robbery.

Beaumont Police arrested Traivonne Clark, of Beaumont, who they say is responsible for an aggravated robbery that took place at 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning in the 4900 block of Wyatt St.
Clark was interviewed by detectives before being arrested for aggravated robbery and an outstanding warrant.
He admitted to holding an man at gunpoint and then stealing his jeep after setting up the meeting through a dating app, according to police.
Clark and another man reportedly stole the victims vehicle before fleeing in it and avoiding police.
Officers located the stolen vehicle around 4 a.m. at a gas station on Concord Rd. and Delaware St.
Clark led officers on a pursuit that stopped at a dead end on Jeanette St., according to police. He got out the vehicle and ran on foot.
During the foot pursuit, he was able to successfully evade officers.
Police say that Clark initially was able to get away due to "the high rate of speed, coupled with the improved mobility of the track-suit" he was wearing.
