ORANGE, Texas — Police in Orange are investigating after a man in a wig robbed a fast food restaurant in the city Monday night.
Officers were sent to the Golden Chick restaurant at 1716 16th St. at about 8:45 p.m. after the store was robbed according to police.
The man was wearing a woman's wig when he entered the restaurant, according to police.
He walked up to the register, leaned over the counter and took money out of the register.
Employees told 12News crew at the scene that they recognized him as a former employee.
The case is currently being investigated by the criminal investigation division.
