BEAUMONT, Texas — A man is in stable condition after a shooting early Sunday morning in Beaumont.
On March 10 around 3:22 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to a call about a victim of a shooting at 3430 Concord Road.
While officers were on the way to the scene, dispatch told them that the victim, a 28-year-old man, was being taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, according to a BPD news release.
The victim arrived at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital and received immediate medical attention.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed a fight had broken out and the victim was shot multiple times.
The witnesses on scene were uncooperative, intoxicated and refused to give details about the incident, according to the release.
The victim is in critical, but stable condition.
