KOUNTZE, Texas — A Southeast Texas man will be serving 20 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a child in 2018.

Justin Lee Sticker was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child during a bench trial before Judge Steven Thomas in Hardin County's 356th District Court on Friday.

In a bench trial there is no jury and the case is heard only by the judge.

Stevens sentenced Sticker to 20 years for aggravated sexual assault of a child and 10 years for indecency with a child.

Because the sentences for both charges will run concurrently, he will serve a total of 20 years for the offenses, which happened in 2018.

This is a developing story. We will update with more if and when we receive more confirmed information.
