ORANGE, Texas — A man was arrested and charged after drugs were found in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Orange.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the City of Orange Narcotic Division conducted a traffic stop on a gray Toyota Camry in the 2300 block of Elmira Road in Orange, according to a news release from the Orange Police Department.
During the stop, David Broussard, 53, was found to be in possession of about 75 grams of methamphetamine, along with other narcotics.
This traffic stop happened after an investigation revealed Broussard distributed methamphetamine around Southeast Texas.
Broussard was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, which is a second degree felony.
Additional charges are pending, according to the release.

On 02/07/2022, the City of Orange Narcotic Division conducted a traffic stop on a gray Toyota Camry in the 2300 block of Elmira Road in Orange. The driver was identified as David Broussard. During the stop, Broussard was found to be in possession of approximately 75 grams of methamphetamine along with other narcotics. This traffic stop occurred after an investigation which revealed Broussard distributing methamphetamine in Southeast Texas. Broussard was placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony of the second degree. Additional charges are pending.
