LUMBERTON — Lumberton Middle School administrators were made aware of a threat made towards a student on Thursday.
The school contacted police who removed the student who made the threat from campus, according to a post on the LISD Facebook page.

On Thursday, 10 May 2018 the Lumberton Middle School campus administrators were notified that a student had made a threat towards another student. The Lumberton Police Department was contacted and responded quickly. The student was removed from campus by the Lumberton Police Department. As always, the safety of our students is our first priority. If you hear something, say something.
