LAKE CHARLES — A man investigators say shot and killed his fiancé in Lake Charles last night is held at the Calcasieu Parish jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
A sheriff’s office spokesperson said it happened just before 9 p.m. on Lake Street in Lake Charles. Detectives determined that the victim, identified as Lori Estelle Tanner, 38, of Lake Charles, was inside a passenger in a car driven by her fiancé. They believe she was shot inside the car. No other details were released.
Tanner’s fiancé, identified as Michael Edwin Vice, 46, of Lake Charles, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree Murder.
A news release issued Thursday morning says the investigation is ongoing.
