Judge signs permanent injunction preventing Terry Rose from selling off his assets

Terry Rose is being charged with the murder of Kimberly Langwell.

BEAUMONT, Texas — A judge has sign a permanent injunction on Friday, August 30 that will prevent Terry Rose from selling his assets before the lawsuit goes to trial.

Terry Rose is being charged with the murder of Kimberly Langwell. Langwell disappeared on July 9, 1999. Her remains were found on June 13, 2024 under the floor of Rose's home.

Langwell's daughter, Tiffani McInnis, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on June 28, 2024, asserting, "claims for monetary relief over $1,000,000 from Terry Lee Rose, Sr."

The wrongful death damages listed in the petition include mental anguish, loss of parent/child relationship, loss of society, pecuniary losses, compensatory damages, punitive damages and other damages that will be shown at trial.

McInnis was granted a temporary restraining order by Judge Mitch Templeton, preventing Rose from selling his assets before the suit goes to trial.
