Joint investigation leads to arrest of alleged Beaumont drug dealer

BEAUMONT, Texas — The Beaumont Police Department worked with multiple agencies to conduct a joint investigation on an alleged known narcotics dealer in the Beaumont area.

On January 25, 2024 Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, BPD Narcotics Division and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division worked together to investigate and arrest 27-year-old Tomaas Stittem Jr. of Beaumont, according to a JCSO news release.

During a traffic stop in Nederland, officers found Stittem to be in possession of ¼ pound of methamphetamine, the release states.

He was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional facility where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
