Jefferson County deputies asking for public's help to identify burglary suspects

NOME, Texas — Jefferson County deputies are asking the public if they recognize the suspects of a burglary that were caught on camera.

On July 24, around 3:00 a.m., deputies responded to Nome Mini Mart at 2323 US Highway 90 in reference to an alarm. When they arrived, deputies discovered that the store had been burglarized.

Two people, dressed in all black clothing with gloves and masks, shattered a window and entered the store, according to Jefferson County deputies.

The suspects allegedly stopped at one of the gaming machines before heading to the area around the cash register and rummaged around before exiting the store through the broken window.
