Horse owner asking for community's help following Wednesday evening theft of Dunn gelding

The horse's tracks suggest someone walked Buck from his property and up to the highway, most likely to a trailer.

ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — The owner of a Dunn gelding is asking for the community's help following a Wednesday evening theft.

Brad Schrieber told 12News that around 6 p.m. someone cut three strands of a fence near FM 1078 and Gus Lane. Schrieber said tracks suggest someone walked the horse named Buck from his property and up to the highway, most likely to a trailer.

Buck is a Dunn gelding and has a circle "C" branding on him.

Anyone who has seen Buck or who has information regarding the incident is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 409-883-2612.

This is a developing story. 12News will update the community with more if and when we receive more confirmed information
