BEAUMONT, Texas — Four Southeast Texas men are behind bars after being caught with guns and marijuana during an early-morning traffic stop in Beaumont's south end.
The four men were arrested after a Beaumont Police Department patrol officer stopped a vehicle in the 4600 block of Highland Dr at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday morning according to a news release from the police department.
Officers discovered marijuana and four guns in the vehicle, including two handguns and what police described as an "AR style pistol," the release said.
One of the handguns had been reported stolen.
Police did not say exactly how much marijuana was found.
All four men in the vehicle were arrested on charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana police said.

- Aaron Hill, 20
- Jaden Horde, 19
- Christopher Ooten, 21
Ooten was also charged with theft of a firearm police said.
