Former Beaumont ISD Police officer charged with improper relationship with student

The school district announced in early March that BISD Police, Texas Rangers and the district attorney's office were investigating the allegations.

BEAUMONT, Texas — A former Beaumont ISD Police officer has been charged with an improper relationship with a student.

Quincey Daniels has been charged with "improper relationship between educator and student" according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's office.

Daniels remains in jail where his bond has been set at $100,000 the sheriff's office said.

The Texas Rangers and BISD Police investigated the case.

12News sources say the case involved a student at Beaumont United high School.

Deputies with the sheriff's office warrant division and texas Rangers arrested Daniels Thursday evening.
