BEAUMONT, Texas — A former Beaumont ISD Police officer has been charged with an improper relationship with a student.
Quincey Daniels has been charged with "improper relationship between educator and student" according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's office.
Daniels remains in jail where his bond has been set at $100,000 the sheriff's office said.
The Texas Rangers and BISD Police investigated the case.
12News sources say the case involved a student at Beaumont United high School.

Deputies with the sheriff's office warrant division and texas Rangers arrested Daniels Thursday evening.

The school district announced in a release on March 5, 2019, that BISD Police, Texas Rangers and the district attorney's office were investigating the allegations.
