ORANGE COUNTY — A Department of Public Safety trooper arrested the father of Dallas Cowboys' Quarterback Dak Prescott for misdemeanor Class B possession of marijuana, Saturday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. a trooper pulled over Nathaniel Prescott, 57, of Pflugerville, on Highway 87 in Orange and found marijuana in the driver side door pocket, according to a spokesperson for DPS.
He was taken to the Orange County jail but is no longer in custody.

A Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper arrested a driver Saturday afternoon on State Highway 87 for allegedly possessing marijuana following an Orange County traffic stop.
At approximately 4 p.m., the Trooper stopped a Cadillac Escalade and discovered marijuana in the driver side door pocket. The driver was identified as Nathaniel Prescott, 57, of Pflugerville.
Prescott was transported to the Orange County jail for the misdemeanor offense. There are no further details available for release at this time.
