Bridge City man connected to Lake Charles murder is still at large

LAKE CHARLES, La. — Detectives are still searching for a Bridge City man who they believe is connected to the murder of a Lake Charles woman Saturday, March 2.

Tyler Lewis, 25, of Bridge City is believed to be a part of a deadly drive by shooting in Lake Charles that claimed the life of Annette D. Touvell, 65.

According to Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, Touvell and three teenage accomplices from Lake Charles stole a family members vehicle and drove to W. Tank Farm Road and Sailfish Drive. 

There they fired multiple shots, one of which went stray, going through Touvell's window and killing her in her home.

CPSO says that they have arrested the other three suspects but are still looking for Lewis an have put out a warrant for his arrest.

Detectives are asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of Lewis to please call CPSO at (337) 491-3605.  You can also submit an anonymous tip by using the CloseWatch Calcasieu app or by calling Crime Stoppers at 439-2222.

According to CPSO anyone found to be assisting or harboring Lewis will be charged accordingly.
