MAURICEVILLE, Texas — The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for any information that could help locate the suspects responsible for robbing a Brinks employee at a credit union in Mauriceville.
On Wednesday around 5 p.m., Orange County deputies were sent to a robbery in progress at the Wellspring Credit Union.
When they arrived, investigators discovered that the suspects had already left the scene in a white Jeep Wagoneer.
As the Brinks employee was attempting to install cash cassettes into the ATM located in the Wellspring parking lot, the white Jeep Wagoneer pulled up to the Brinks employee, and the suspects were able to overtake the victim by surprise, according to Captain Joey Jacobs.
The suspects took the cash cassettes and left the scene.
