BOLIVAR PENINSULA, Texas — Galveston County deputies have identified the man whose body was found along Crystal Beach as a 45-year-old Nederland man.
Deputies are continuing to investigate after the body of Shaun Land, 45, of Nederland, was found on Crystal Beach early Tuesday morning.
Land's body appeared to have washed up on the beach and was found just before 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, Captain Ray Nolen, of the Galveston County Sheriff's Office told 12News.
Land's body was found and reported to the sheriff's office by a person walking on the beach.
Deputies are awaiting toxicology reports as they continue to investigate his death say they do not yet know if his was death accidental or not.
