Beaumont teen charged with robbery, drugs, evading arrest and having a prohibited weapon

Jefferson County jail records at 11:30 a.m. show Bourgeois remains held on bonds totaling $123,000.

BEAUMONT — An 18-year-old from Beaumont could spend a long time in prison if convicted after police arrested him for aggravated robbery, drug possession, evading detention and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Jaquorian Oshae Bourgeois was arrested just after 10 p.m. Tuesday. A police spokesperson said he used a short-barrel shotgun during a robbery in the 4200 block of Maddox in the south side of Beaumont. The spokesperson said Bourgeois ran from police when they arrived, but was found after a lengthy search. Bourgeois is said to have had the victim’s property with him when officers arrested him.
