Beaumont Police searching for man accused of fracturing a woman's skull

BPD says the girl led police to their 33-year-old mother, after being examined it was determined that the woman's skull had been fractured.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police are asking for the publics help in finding 39-year-old Marcus Austin who is accused fracturing a woman's skull.

At around 6 p.m. officers responded to 2860 Averill after getting a call about an assault that may have been taking place there.

As officers made their way to the scene the were flagged down by the victims young daughter according to BPD.

BPD says the girl led police to her 33-year-old mother, after being examined it was determined that the woman's skull had been fractured and she was immediately taken to the hospital as a trauma alert patient.

Austin has Beaumont City Warrants and a Warrant for parole violation out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for possession of weapon by felon.

Austin was last seen possibly wearing a black muscle shirt and black shorts, headed south on foot from 2860 Averill.
