Beaumont Police are looking for suspect after Tuesday shooting

The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Saxe Street around 6:44 p.m.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Saxe Street around 6:44 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. BPD says they are cooperating with investigators.  

Beaumont Police say the suspect is a white or Hispanic man that was last seen headed eastbound on Saxe toward Park Street in a black Chevy Avalanche (2006 to 2010 model) with no tint, a lift kit, stock wheels and rims.
